Brendan’s Story

There is no doubt that my passion for the food and service industry runs deep, very deep! I simply just LOVE FOOD. Love to eat it , love to make it, in fact anything to do with food. Since the age of 12 being brought up in hotels and restaurants, I worked my way up from runner to waiter then waiter to management. Running various food outlets at The Empora’s Palace Casino I knew this was my calling.

From the kitchen to the front of house my skills have been perfected, and not to mention my ability to deal with all situations with precision and calmness. More so, I simply enjoy my customers!

I will endeavour to carry The Carlucci’s brand for generations to come in my family.

World Class Service

We really strive to give our utmost best in service. We will endeavour to go out of our way to accommodate all your needs. Blouberg will see faster quicker service, being the small shop that it is , but Meerendal proves a little more difficult with the furthest table being 70m from the kitchen. But this laid back environment should enjoyed at exactly that “laid back” the typical wine estate feeling cheese boards , wine tasting, amazing views and total relaxation.

Excellent Menus

Our menu has been developed over 20 years to cater for everyone’s tastes bud. Our café style menu of light meals offers anything from the grab & go meals to pizzas, our sandwiches are to die for. Generous fillings stuffed into freshly bake artisanal breads. We have focused on vegetarians and special dietary requirements to keep up with trends. Our freshly pressed juices are a hit, our range of combinations are unique to our menu. Sourcing the freshest fruit and vegetables for these juices is our daily priority.
